Haro's Expert is the last stop on the line before moving to a full size pro bike. It features a light, junior-sized aluminum frame and chromoly fork so you can really tear it up at the local BMX track. 170mm cranks leverage junior gearing so you can pop out of the gate and into the lead. Thin tires keep weight and rolling resistance low, and the sealed bearing bottom bracket and hubs roll quickly. A lightweight seat and 6.75-inch rise bar round out the winning package.
Haro's Downtown is the perfect entry into the BMX world. It features a tough high-tensile steel frame with internal head tube, Mid BB shell, and welded seat clamp. Its steel fork and rise handlebar are equally rugged, and get you poised for your next run-up with confidence. The stout, chromoly 3-piece crank comes with 25/9 gearing for plenty of speed going into the set and plenty of clearance under the sprocket. All that speed is transferred through smooth-rolling and durable wheels that are wrapped with Kenda Kontacts that stick the landing every time. The lightweight Downtown platform is built for flow and style with a straight cable rear brake, so you can focus on learning the next trick.
The Shredder 20 checks all the boxes when it comes to big BMX styling and legit components. The alloy lo-profile frame and 20-inch wheels combine to create a familiar feel as your kid progresses through the years, and the rear V-brake, riser handlebar, and 40/16 gearing stays true to the sport with scaled down sizing. A full matching pad set and rear coaster brake add a touch of safety, too.
